Blossom Squares
1 cup flour
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup sugar
1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup confectioner's sugar
2 cups frozen
whipped topping, thawed
1 cup mini marshmallows
1 can (21 oz.) Cherry Pie Filling
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine flour, butter, walnuts and sugar; mix
with a fork until crumbly. Microwave, uncovered, on high 5 to 6 minutes or
until lightly toasted, stirring twice. Press mixture into bottom of 13x9x2
inch pan (recommend slightly smaller in size).
- Beat cream cheese and confectioners sugar until creamy; fold in whipped
topping and marshmallows. Spread over crust. Top with pie filling.
- Cover and chill 2 hours or over night.
Cut into squares.
YIELD: 12-15 squares
